Aspect Ratios - you can choose the aspect ratio you want. Say you need to generate a featured image for a LinkedIn article. You can write your prompt followed by --ar 16:9.

  • Quality - choose how much detail you want. The quality values are .25, .5, 1 (default), and 2. A higher-quality image with more detail takes longer to process. Enter --q 2 at the end of your prompt if you want the most detailed pictures. This doesn’t affect the resolution.

  • Negative Prompting - this excludes objects from the image. Use --no to activate it. For instance, using --no text letters fonts ensures you get an image without words.

  • Chaos (0-100) - you can get more varied results with this parameter. The higher the value, the more unexpected the results. Use --chaos 100 for maximum variation.

  • Stylise (0-1000 on Version 4) - change how strongly Midjourney applies its default aesthetic to your images. It was trained to produce images favouring artistic colour, composition, and forms. Use --s to change how strongly the training applies. So,  using --s 900 is more artistic while  --s 50 is less so.

  • Seed (0–4294967295) - allows you to produce similar images with slightly different prompts. Midjourney automatically generates seed numbers for each job, but you can assign them yourself by typing --seed <number>
